Mental Health Therapy for Children, Adults, and Families in Denver

You may be here because your child is struggling to express big feelings, or because parenting has started to feel overwhelming, confusing, or lonely. Maybe you’ve noticed more meltdowns, anxiety, or behavior that doesn’t feel like your child—and you’re wanting support that goes deeper than surface-level coping skills.

Or maybe you are carrying your own emotional pain. You might feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, weighed down by trauma, or simply ready for meaningful healing and change.

Whatever brought you here, a part of you knows things can get better. You’re looking for a space where you and your family feel seen, understood, and guided with compassion—not judged or rushed.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in the belief that every child and adult has an inner capacity for healing when they feel safe and supported. In the playroom, I help children express what words can’t. With parents, I offer guidance, insight, and tools that build confidence and connection. And with adults, I walk alongside you as you move through what’s been holding you back—toward resilience, clarity, and peace.

You don’t have to navigate this season alone. Together, we’ll create a path toward relief, growth, and emotional well-being—for you or your child. Healing doesn’t have to feel out of reach. In the right space, change becomes possible.

My Services

Child Play Therapy

Play therapy is more than just kids having fun with toys—though that’s part of the magic! It’s a way for children to express their feelings, process experiences, and work through challenges in a language they know best: play.

What is the difference between a Registered Play Therapist and a Child Therapist?

A Registered Play Therapist (RPT) is a therapist who has undergone specialized training, supervision, and clinical experience specifically in play therapy. They also have been certified and approved by the Association for Play Therapy (APT), ensuring they meet rigorous professional standards.

Why Does this Matter?

Through my extensive training in Play Therapy, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the therapeutic power of play. I have been trained to use play effectively to help children process emotions, trauma, and behavioral challenges. While other therapists may integrate play techniques into their work, they may not have the specialized skills, supervision, or theoretical grounding that make play therapy a transformative intervention.
